About Our Textbooks and Resources
We write materials in both English and Myanmar languages. All of our materials are designed for adult learners. The three subject areas that we focus on are:
With few exceptions, our resources are designed with a similar approach, so that teachers and learners who are familiar with one will be familiar with others. Our books aim to develop learners’ knowledge and skills, and encourage discussion of and reflection on ideas presented in the books.
All books come with answer keys and (in most cases) instructions to help teachers deliver lessons and activities. More recent books are designed with the online classroom in mind, and we are working to provide additional materials and support so that all courses can be taught either in a face-to-face or online environment.
For organisations with specific learning needs that are not met through one or more of the resources listed here, our teams can also source and/or create curricula and other materials. We can develop materials on a variety of adult education topics, including teacher education, English language learning, community development, life skills, learning skills and a range of social science topics.
